We held a Celebration of Life for one of our saints, Erika Gibbs. Family and friends shared their love and stories of Erika during the reception following the service. If you weren’t able to attend the service, you can view it on our St. Matthias Facebook page.
Blessing of the Animals
The fall season is upon us, and we will start out with our annual community Blessing of the Animals, Saturday, October 7, 10:30am – 12pm. Folks will stay in their cars as Fr. Dexter blesses either your pets or a photo of your pets. In the past we’ve had Roy’s goats, dogs, cats, hamsters, bearded dragon lizard, tortoise, deer, and chickens.
We will hold our All Saints Day and Dia de los Muertos service on Wednesday, November 1st, 6-7pm. Parishioners are encouraged to bring a photo of their loved ones. We ask any names you want remembered during the service be provided to Meg by October 30th.
