March 2026 Newsletter
March always feels like a doorway. The light lingers a little longer in the evenings, the air hints at change, and the Church invites us deeper into the holy rhythm of Lent. These weeks are not about spiritual gloom, but about gentle honesty, about turning our hearts again toward the One who never turns away from us. In a world that runs on noise and hurry, March offers us a sacred pause. A chance to pray more intentionally, to listen more carefully, and to notice where God is already at work in our lives and in our parish family.
As we journey together toward Holy Week and Easter morning, St. Matthias does so as a community, supporting one another in prayer, gathering around Word and Sacrament, and looking outward in love to our neighbors. Whether you are embracing a Lenten discipline, joining a Diocesan study, serving in a ministry, or simply showing up week by week, know that your presence matters. God is shaping us, even now, into a people of hope. And hope, especially in uncertain times, is a beautiful thing to practice together.
